Reece Moseley, a current college undergraduate at the University of Georgia, pursues a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Composition. During high school, he was a percussionist in the Mill Creek Wind Ensemble and held leadership roles such as marching band quad section leader, drum captain, and assistant music director for the theater. Now at UGA, Reece contributed as a board member for the Student Composers Association and actively serves as a percussion technician for local high schools. With many years of composition experience, Reece has created various pieces, including an award-winning musical titled "Roulette," and multiple solo and chamber pieces showcased at UGA recitals.

Reece Moseley is a current college undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Composition at the University of Georgia. During his high school years, he participated in various musical ensembles and theatrical productions, including as a percussionist in the Mill Creek Wind Ensemble all four years and taking on lead roles in productions such as "A Christmas Carol" and "Curtains." Reece has served in many leadership positions, such as quad section leader and drum captain during his time in the marching band, an assistant music director for Mill Creek theater productions, and recently was on the board for the UGA Student Composer’s Association. Currently, Reece serves as a percussion technician for local high schools. With many years of experience in music composition, Reece has produced a lot of pieces, including an award-winning musical titled "Roulette" and numerous percussion ensemble pieces. Ranging from solo and chamber works to electronic pieces, Reece has also had many pieces premiered and performed at multiple UGA recitals. He releases his music on Spotify under his own name.

During his high school years, Reece participated in various musical ensembles and theatrical productions. He was a percussionist in the Mill Creek Wind Ensemble for four years and took part in the theater program, with memorable roles including "Jacob Marley" in "A Christmas Carol" and "Lieutenant Frank Cioffi" in "Curtains." Additionally, his interest in the audio/visual production class led him to create several short films, a creative pursuit he continues to take part in. He uploads his film work on youtube to the channel “HBS Studios.”
Reece has taken on several leadership roles, such as quad section leader (junior year) and drum captain (senior year) during his time in the marching band. He also served as an assistant music director for various Mill Creek theater productions. Currently, Reece serves as a percussion technician for both several local high schools.
Reece has been working on music compositions for many years. His work includes an award-winning musical titled "Roulette," which earned recognition at the GA Thescon MusicalWorks competition in 2022. He has also composed numerous percussion ensemble pieces, including "Night in the City," which was selected for performance at the GMEA Composition Competition, and a marimba and cajon duet entitled “Velvet Echos,” performed during his joint junior performance recital with his friend Austin Waters. Reece's compositions premiered and performed at UGA span a wide range of genres, from solo and chamber works to electronic surround sound pieces, and he releases most of them on Spotify and other music distribution services under his own name.
